On March 13, Escondido Police Officer Molly Milliken visited us to give a Crime Prevention presentation. Officer Milliken's talk focused on 'crimes of opportunity', which are the most common type of crimes seen in our area. Most thieves are trying to take something quick, easily and without being noticed. Home burglaries are rare, especially in a gated complex like ours, but thefts from vehicles are more frequent.
